Yes, bolts on top of teh diff, need to remove power steering pump to get to them.

It'* 2 bolts and take about 2 mins to remove.

from the top....after removing the alternator.....correct?.....and a puddle of fluid on the floor?

I've taken mine off 6 or 7 times. No mess.

OK......I have been working on peeling wiring back....coilpack now off and first tensioner....

JY really knows how to strip a motor I am going to have to reuse a virtual ton of stuff.....

the saga continues.....

Here I was thinking this would be a 8 to 10 hour job!! I guess for some it might....but with all there is to switch over I don't see how.

not even close!!!! still working on wiring and removing items on top. I am done for the night.

You'll get it. Did you unbolt the torque converter from the flex plate?

yes that was one of the first things I did as I had the pan off from a few weeks ago when I had looked at the bottom end. I broke the starter solenoid after already removing the only two wires needed to remove it. stupid me.
