something up with my E-brake
My E-brake I know needs to be fixed. Cause I can drive with the E-brake on forever. It will not hold my car back. The question is do you know what they do and how much it costs usually at a mechanic? Just getting basic price so I know

It may just need the cable tightened up...You can do this yourself with very basic tools, if you have a chiltons or hayes manual ($15) it tell you how to do it.
If its something else it could get more pricey.

Your car has rear DISC BRAKES that require NO ADJUSTMENT.
Does the pedal tighten up at all when you press it down, or does it go to the floor with little or no effort. If it requires little or no effort and does not tighten up as you get lower, then its likely a broken cable.
If the pedal gets tighter as it is depressed then it would appear that the cable itself has become stretched and needs to be adjusted. There is an adjustment bolt along the cable where it splits between the two wheels, its a pretty easy, quick fix assuming the adjuster is not rusted completely solid.
A respectable mechanic should adjust the cable for a measly 20-30 bucks as well
