2001SLE LIM gasket replacement
Great forum folks- my compliments
Just realized I was down on antifreeze last night. I've been having a hard time finding some instructions on replacing the LIM gasket and the parts I require. I can't find the tech section, the links don't work and my searches have been unsuccessful in finding some general directions for this job.
btw-learned about the intermediate shaft yesterday and for now got rid of my steering wheel creaking by lubing the upper uni-joint last night.

Try this, there is a good step by step about 4/5 posts down.

I did mine about a 1.5-2 years ago, and by the looks of it this morning I need to do it again. She started really hard and didn't want to stay running and when she did start she ran fine. Then I came home from lunch and left her sit in the snow, when I left there was quite a bit if anti-freeze on the ground. i'm going to investigate more when I get home tonight.
