Default Sunroof problem

Hello,
My sunroof got stuck open one day and when it finally decided to close I found a metal piece that at the time I though just grabbed the sun shade and opened it when the sunroof was opened. Turns out that this piece of metal also catches any water that gets past the seal and channels it to the drains (Or so I think). I am not sure which piece this is on the diagram but it connects to 2 movable metal pieces, one on each side. The pieces that connected it are broken and lost in the headliner. I would like to re-connect this metal piece but I am not sure of what parts I need to do this or if I can even get them. I think I could use a small metal "L" bracket screwed to both parts to make it work. Anyone had to fix this before? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Static

Can you post some pictures showing the broken parts?
