Service Air Bag - No communications
Folks.. Getting your opinion. My Service Air Bag goes off only on cold days or when the interior is cold (below 50)..
We hook a scanner to the car. Whenever we would scan the air bag system, it would say NO COMMUNICATIONS.. It could scan the engine and etc, just not the Air Bag..
Check me on this: 1) I assume this means a bad connection to the Air Bag module itself. 2), this module is under the driver seat, and 3) I need to disconnect the battery to the car before attempting to reseat the connections to it?
Does this sound do-able? Never worked on a Air Bag system before.. Thanks.. Patrick

I have the same problem when it is under 20 degrees. If I drive the car for 30 minutes, then turn it off and start it back up it goes away. I am not taking any action, if it bothers me I simply power off, and restart the engine.

I don't think this one needs any replacement parts.. It works perfectly on warmer days..
I'll just try to reseat the connections.. Guy at bodyshop (see thread in GD) said the module was under the center part of the dash.. I told him that wasn't what they say on this forum...
