Tire Replacement
After 57K, the Eagle RSA'* on my 2000 SSEi have to be replaced. I've been very happy with the Goodyear tires, but they're pricey at arout $150 each. Are there better choices out there? I have heard good things about the Dunlop A2.

I had the Dunlop A2'* on my Aurora, was very happy with them, much better than the Goodyears that where on there. I choose the Dulops because they had the best traction rating (AA) over any other tires my size 235-16-60.
When My RSA'* go don't know what I'm going to get. Would it be weird to get some performance summer tires on the front and switch them out with the RSA'* come winter? Like dedicated snow tires but I'll only do the front'*? Anybody doing that?

Get them siped, too
I'm familiar with siping on tires. What you refer to sounds like an additional process. Is that something you have to specify when ordering the Toyo Proxes? Forgive my ignorance.

I recently went with the Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus and couldn't be happier. They are quieter, smoother, handle better wet & dry and are supposed to have longer tread life.

I have those on my car...not bad, I'm not happy with the strength of the sidewall. Nor the grip in the winter.
But for V-rated speeds and wet/dry handling they are very good
