bubbles are usually a sign of excessive fluid amount, what is your level at?

Todd (Rogue) from Intense runs an extra pint in his transmission without issues. You could have a leaking seal at the filter, which would add the bubbles, and was why I suggested that you change it. More than a pint or so over, you could have problems.

due to my current situation with working outof town now, it is harder to get car work done. i ave always done my own work, but i really have come to despise tranny fluid work. i have done so much work on cars with trans issues that i think i am cursed really.

i plan to take it to local repair shop and have them flush it out and put new filter in and such. hopefully this will take care of the issues.

i just have a hard time beleiving the pcs solenoid is my problem because i haven't noticed it shifting hard through normaly driving. jsut a hard down shift, upshft on high highway speeds.
