Default GP Side Mirrors on 2000 SLE

Does anyone know if the side mirrors from a Grand Prix will fit on a bonne? The triangle section that attaches to the car looks like it is the same size and shape...

I'm not sure if they would or not. It seems logical that they would fit, but, being different chassis and overall design I also think that they might not. I do know of a mirror that would fit on the Bonneville though and I like it better than the Bonne'* because it'* not triangular shaped (the glass area), it'* slightly bigger, and it'* break-away. (no more snapping your mirror off on a pole or garage door. I won't say what it'* to, but I'll give you a hint, it'* from a car that'* in my signature.

Its not that I dont like the stock bonnie mirrors... I've just always been a fan of the prix side mirrors... I do like the idea of having them break-away like that though. Thanks for the info.
