Default Drivers side rear suspension very firm and bouncy

The other day, I had the car raised up on a lift so I can rotate my tires. After taking it for a test drive, I noticed the drivers side rear suspension was very firm. I now also hit my head on the roof when going over a medium sized dips in the road.

I had new Monroe air shocks installed 2 years ago. The bouncy firm ride is isolated to the drivers rear side.

Not sure why lifting up the car would case this issue?

Regards

make sure you didnt pinch any air lines when you lowered the car down.

Put car back on lift with wheels hanging. Trigger ELC to pressurize the system (easiest way is to move the leveling arm with the ignition on, or the ELC trick used for drag racing). Lower car. Let air system vent on its own to let the rear back down. Problem should be fixed.

Do this immediately, or you can damage the shock if you haven't already (not even counting other things).

I believe what is happening is the air bladder is binding up on itself, which can lead to pinching, deformation, and/or cuts.

I raised the rear d-side wheel but could not move the ELC leveling arm (see pic) with the ignition on.

I then let some air out of the shock by unplugging the tube at the top. I cleaned it and reconnected it and it looks like it solved my problem.

Thanks for the replies.

If you jacked up the drivers side, and then disconnected the air line with the suspension fully extended, that is likely what fixed it. It let air in to the air bladder, let it reexpand, and then when you set it back down, it then settled back where it should be.
