2 quick questions
I've owned my Bonni for about 2 weeks now. I've just set the memory seats for me (1) and the SWMBO (2). Now every time I turn the car off, when set in my position (1) , the seat moves up. I think it moves into hers (2). What gives? How can I set the default memory seat to always be 1?
Second. I have 2 keyless entry remotes. Number one is almost dead so I've been using number two. If I put a new battery in number one, will I have to go to a Pontiac dealer to reprogram it or should it work? I have a feeling it needs to be reprogrammed but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Thanks

The reason the seat always returns to the second position is that you are using the #2 remote. The memory settings for the seat are tied to the corresponding remote. So... when you unlock the car using the #2 remote the seat will automatically move the to #2 memory setting. Cool huh?
If you replace the battery on the #1 remote no reprogramming is necessary.
For a quick fix... you may want to consider using the #2 memory setting for yourself until you have a chance to replace the battery.

Driver 1 remote and the Seat memory 1 match, the same with Driver 2 and seat memory 2
if you have the seat set in position 1 and you turn off the car and the seat moves up, you have the Exit seating enabled. What this does is move the seat forward when the Ign key is removed for an easier exit from the vehicle. What you can do is go in to Personallization Programming on the DIC, and turn off Exit Seating. This will NOT move the seat forward when the Ign Key is removed
Not being that you are using Key 2 the seat will move to the Seat memory 2 when the car is UNlocked
you can replace the battery in the remote as stated above with out a programming needed
