So I'm back to smelling anti-freeze and it was the first thing that a worker at Napa noticed when I popped my hood and started the car up. If it can be seen in the picture, theres resedue in the resevoir to the left and he said that was a sign that something was going on (likely intake failure), is anybody able to confirm that?

Check where the t-stat housing meets the block. Also check your coolant elbows.

I'll deffinatly print out that post and check everything out. We did notice some steam andit does smell somewhat sweet but maybe i'm just imagining things
I think my dad noticed that the T-stat needs to be replaces and he said something was leaking there, could this be a culprit?

That overflow looks a tad bit low... Are you using coolant?
And what is the mileage on the car?

From what I can see in the pic I'd replace the thermostat and the seal... Also check under the throttle body for any leaks..
