German Castrol 0W-30. It'* a little thicker than 10W-30 being 12cst @ 100C. The guys over at BITOG drive from one Autozone to next trying to build a huge stash of the stuff. It'* about $5.50 a quart, but it'* the best full synthetic on the planet.

Don't let the numbers fool you; it'* actually thicker than 10W-30 when hot. It only looks green when you shine a bright light on it. It'* not at all the same as regular Syntech except for the bottle. Autozone has it, but not all their stores, which is why the GC fanactics call it the "GC hunt."

Default oil consumption

Mobil 1 is not the reason for his car using oil. There has to be another cause. I have been putting Mobil 1 in my 2000 SSEi since it had 35,000 miles on it ( you will notice I didn't say I used Mobil 1 in my car because it dosen't use it) it now has 67,000 on it and the never goes down between changes. I don't get into hard often but I do hit it now and than.

I will echo agian check system for leaks! I had my oil changed at the local hardware store *my GP* and it only cost 15 bucks, but they overfilled my oil resvoir taking back out so they can drain it and fill up the new Bridgestone Insegnia SE 200 65R P205 15'* they put on Thursday! I finally got a decent brand of tire. And now there on so my son Chris can bald them.
