I have a 2000 Bonneville. When traveling the other day, the buttons on my climate control system (standard) no longer had the amber lights and when I tried to use them none were working. The fan control dial on the left works, but the temperature dial on the right doesn't seem to affect the air temp from cold to hot.

I have put a circuit tester on all of the fuses under the back seat and get a current on both sides (except for the ABS #35 and Ignition 3 Rear #34). I wasn't sure which fuse controlled the climate control panel so I checked them all.

Here is possibly a strange coincidence related to this issue. On that same trip, I was driving home at night and I hit a large varmint with my front right tire. After traveling a short distance, my ABS and Brake light came on the dash. At the next town, I turned off the car, got out and checked for anything visual around the back of the wheel and found nothing. Then, when I started up the car again and hit the road, it was at some point after that I noticed the lights on the climate control system were not lit up. Is it possible this could all be related to hitting that varmint? I don't see how but thought I would ask.

Anyway, my biggest issue right now is figuring out the problem with the climate control system. I would deeply appreciate any input on this issue.
