its quite possible that the heater core is clogged aswell.
How many miles are on the car has there been any service, specifically recently to the heating or cooling systems? could orange and green coolant have been mixed in your system?

The 2000+ bonne is not my area of expertise, but I did find a couple of posts in a search regarding the airmix actator (which is a common problem for 92-99.

Joe, Welcome to BC. Have you tried manual control in heat mode? Is there sufficient air flow at the floor outlets? Can you select between the different ventilation modes manually to re-direct air flow? I'm trying to establish if the air doors are operating in manual as baseline info.
