Default Faulty windshield washer fluid sensor?

Yesterday I tried to use the washer fluid and it was dry. I filled it up when I got home and it works fine. But I realized on the way in this morning that the DIC should have warned me. It'* not worth taking in to get fixed, but is there anything I can check myself to figure out what'* wrong, like a dirty sensor or something? The manual is pretty vague about the warning, but there isn't a reset is there?

Correct, there is not a reset function for low washer fluid warning on the DIC. It is a non-latching type warning. When you fill the washer tank, the warning automaticly clears off the DIC. As a quick check you could disconnect the windshield washer level sensor at the washer tank. Jumper pin B at the connector (wiring harness) to ground, the low washer fluid warning should be displayed on the DIC with ign. on, engine off. Let us know the results if you decide to check it out.

Sounds like a plan. If it warms up a little I'll see if I can find the sensor. Thanks!
