Check gauge light wont go off
I have a 94' Bonneville SSE and about 5 minutes into the ride my check gauges light will come on. But the gauges show normal stats. I have to replace the bearings in the AC but I dont think that would do it. Any ideas?

Isn't he talking about the Check Gauges light rather Check Engine light? I thought the Check Gauges light was supposed to tell you about stuff like low fuel, etc.

There are other reasons that it might set as well. Say the alternator on an SSEi... instead of an volt gauge the SSEi gets the boost gauge in it'* place.

OBD ll scanners are for 96' cars and higher and thats all i have on hand. How many check guage sensors could there be? The car was just crashed so it probably got rattled.

You need an OBD1 scanner with an OBD2 cable capable of scanning 94/95 GM vehicles. Some of us have them, but you have to pray we're nearby or you're off to the dealer.
You MUST scan or we can't help you in any way other than guessing.
