i get the codes po1016 passenger deployment loop resistance low .like to know what this mean

I agree that it sounds like a problem with the airbag system. The correct code is likely B1016. It sounds like a trip to the dealer, or a body shop that deals with airbags.

are there sensors in the passenger seat to detect the weight of a passenger? I know some cars have those, just wondering if that could be the cause. :?:

only thing i did under the dash is to plug my aeroforce scan gauge were my ash tray is and i got the power from the traction controll in the consol.
