Finally Gas mileage improvement on SE.
Though I would share what I found recently.
Couldn't get better mileage than 15 around town for a long time no matter what I did.
With gas going up every week
Recently I pulled out all all stops and it improved to 17 - 18 mpg.
Heres what I recently did.
1) Took out Delco platinums, installedBosch platinum plugs (I know some don't like them but I had them in stock).
2) Added 1 pint trick shift fluid to tranny.
3) Unhooked neg. Batt terminal for 35 min. to reset the PCM and all sensors.
There is a noticeable improvement in the way the car starts, picks up, and shifts.
I'm hoping that as the PCM relearns and it gets warmer out mileage will improve
to 19 - 20 MPG around town.
Can't complain though , I think resetting the PCM did the most. Didn't know it took more than 30 min. till I read it here in a post.
What do you think?

Sounds good to me. Take it up on I-95, or another high speed road for an hour to get a good test run on it as an mpg check. Highway mpg'* to me are the true test imo. You should get close to 25-27 mpg highway.

I-95
Thanks I'll try 95. Maybe a trip to the beach outlet shopping.
Highway mileage was allways ok though (around 27 - 2 in lockup.
I suspected I was getting some slip around town thats why I added the trick shift.
