Default Wheres that dang 4 digit computer code?

SUperchip says it should be behind the glovebox for my model. Simple enuff. I take out the glove box, and all i can see is the vent system that feeds the vents built into my glove box. I can barely see around it to see a sliver of the computer, sure cant see any numbers that way tho. So i take that black plastic plate off under the dash and can see it much better now. But where the heck are those numbers located? I'm assuming out of the 3 boxes down there that the silver one with 3 large ribbon connectors is the computer? (The other 2 boxes are black, one clearly has fuses in it.)
Is it on a sticker or is it engraved or painted on the box itself?

Please help before i go bald.

On a sticker on the box...remove the computer....if I recall, it'* on the big side you can't see. The rom ID will also be on the chip itself under the little 2-screw cover.
(this only applies to Series1)

You'll have to pull the ribbon connectors and one (10mm I think) bolt to get it out. It'll fight you, but not too bad. Yours was the last year the puter was above the passenger footwell hushpanel. All subsequent years are in the engine bay near the airbox.
