Need help diagnosing a code my car threw. (92 LeSabre)
I did a search but couldent find what I'm looking for.
Basicly how do you convert the SES light flashes (when shorting pin A and B ) to get the code number? it did the code 12 with out a problem, that was easy 1 pause 1 1 but then it did a 4 quick flashes, and after that 2 quick flashes (though that could have been me not noticing it redoing the code 12.) any help is much appricated. (I just had my burnt exhaust valve repaired as well. got my smoth running back, but it still dosent feel like its got the low end power it did when I bought it.) )
P.*. I've been on here before as either DemonKnight or AkumaKnight but I cant remember the password. So I make this account (which is the same name I use at clubgp.com)
I think i might just have figured it out. 4 quick flashes and then 2 quick flashes= 42? if thats the case then its "code 42: Electronic spark control circuit " so what the hell is that? and how much will it cost me?

Thank you. Now I have at least some idea of whats going on (kinda) Would this explain why I dont have the power I used to have? Or do you think I have another problem some where?

Code 42 sets when there is no fuel control signal from the ignition control module. Possibly you are having problems with the ignition control module, connections there, or the camshaft/crankshaft sensors. You need a good diagnostic.
