my 95 does it when there is moisture in the pipes too.

also sounds like new plugs and wires might help, also check your air filter, I promise it will help it run much better! Ever since I have replace mine I have noticed a big change.

running rich, most likely plugs or fuel pressure regulator.

Mine was the O2 sensor and it solved the problem. It was running rich cuz the sensor was telling it more fuel

I would change 02 sensor and also if it still does it, plugs and wires. Carbon build -up in your engine and exhaust system also give off a smell of that sort. You can help it by using synthetic oil for higher millage cars, which will help clean it up inside. The exhaust might need to be replaced if there is to much build-up inside!

Thanks for the input.. I know o2 sensors are needed.a tune-up was done about 2 months ago.
