Ugh... More problems
So now that the flour incident is behind me, I have a new issue to bring up- the fact that occasionally, but most often after a somewhat hard brake, when I accelerate it will shift very roughly(is that a word?). But after I turn the car off and then on again, it will be fine. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

My first thought is a bad motor mount or trans mount. Inspect them all. Have a friend help you. Open the hood and stand to the side. have your friend start the engine, push the brake, and then put it in drive. Watch the engine. Then shift to reverse, and watch the engine. It will move a bit, but shouldn't move a lot.

Ok I have a question- when you say move, do you mean like wiggle, but stay in the same position? Because mine moves and shifts positions. Like it moves a few inches it seems

The engine will move a bit because the mounts move inside a rubber bushing. If you have metal on metal, that'* bad. If the mount is not firmly bolted to the engine, transmission, or subframe, then you have a problem there. If possible, take a video of the movement and post it.

Ok I remembered I had this post here, and now have more info. My Mounts are fine, I dropped by my mechanic and he took a look. He suggested it may just be in need on a transmission service, becuase it has been a while. So my question is, could the strange shifting issues be caused by a simple need for a servicing?
