Tearing down 94 SSei motor No compression in #4 cylinder
So looking for an opinion here
Bought the car and got burned on the motor No compression on #4
My thinking was needed plugs wires tune up.
I found a used motorfrom a Junkyard had it installed.
It just died with no oil pressure and now has a knock in it.
It is under a warranty so I can return and get my money back!
Any way what are the odds on being able to save the original motor with the no compression on #4. I understand there are no sleeves in the cylinders on these motors.
A single piston I priced here is like $97.00
By the time I put new bearings in the bottom end rings and seals I will likely have the price of another used motor tied up in it.
Looking for the cheap way out here but have way more than what the car is worth tied up in it now.
Help!
