MrHart, See if you can pull the wire out a little further, there may be another connector there somewhere..
the 8 wire is the TC and the Performance and the Normal Shift buttons....i think that the 4 4wire is the CCR

that is my plug that is part of the POD, and I have the TC as a option

here is the connection the top is leading to the pod and the botton is going to the car

this is my harness IN THE CAR. Looks like the harness connector that is in my car differs from the yours

Thats the only connector, I have looked for another, I was thinking that there had to be other connectors if my assumtion was correct, by looking at pics of cars that had tc and perf shift, now that I know my assumtion is correct, I'll need to find a doner car w/ buttons, time to go junk yard hunting I love junk yards, I have looked in some cars when I went for something else the last time I went, but it was hard enough finding a 94+ and I didnt know that a 93 had the same connector, cause none of the engine and computer connectors seemed to be like 94 + man this is great!

well i think you might need a 94+ pod, because the connector that i have on my pod is the same as the connector in your car. I think that they switched it in 94

I'm guessing that they didn't change the style of connectors until sometime after the start of 1994 model production. I picked up a pod setup with the shift/TC/Ride controls from a 1994 SSEi, and didn't think of it until I got home that it had a pigtail harness. :?
The mid/late 1994-1999 has no pigtail harness from the button pod.
So did I get a hybrid pod?
BTW, 1993SLE -the 1994+ have more wires due to the CCR, which wasn't available in 1993.
I'll try to post pics of what I've got here. Nothing super special because one of the buttons is defunct and one of the indicator light covers is MIA.

right i think tha the 4 prong harness that JR'* has is for the CCR. But yes the connector changed i think mid year. I have a Perf/normal and TC button in my car now, and all 8 slots are filled as apposed to the Picture...that is only the TC only
