Alrighty, welcome and take a breather. When are you gettting the "low oil" light that goes on and off? How IS your coolant level? I believe the drain is on the passenger side. As far as the compass goes have you changed your 6x9 speakers? If the subs are out but your 6x9'* are aftermarket with larger magnets it will throw the compass off too. Have you done the procedure to recalibrate the compass (in owner'* manual)?

Can you put your year and trim level in your signature?
Remove the coolant level sensor from the engine side (top) of the radiator. Clean the face. If that doesn't help, just disconnect it or replace it. It'* getting tired. This is assuming your coolant level is actually good. Coolant drain is on the DRIVER'* side, looking up from underneath through a small hole in the subframe, bottom of the rad.
The advice to check your 6x9'* is a good one. But it sounds like you may have a dash cluster problem. We'll see how it goes, but in the meantime:

How is your oil level on the dipstick? If it'* good, the LEVEL sensor (error on the DIC, right?) is in the oil pan. Actually pinched between the pan and block. Check the wires.

Hope this is not too 'tangential' to the topic-
I just tried draining my coolant with using the drain **** and carefully putting a clear vinyl tube on the outlet tube to catch every drop...
As I loosened the ****, more coolant started coming out around the **** than through the drain tube. Disgusted, I tightened it back up and decided to siphon most of it out through the rad cap.
Don't the automakers or rad makers know this coolant is deadly poison? Why do we always have a mess when it comes time to drain or flush? Can't a decent drain **** be designed for the radiator?
Mebbe I'm just a dumb newbie. I've been working on my vehicles since 1981, and it'* always the same. Please excuse my frustration, and enlighten me if you have any ideas on 'clean and safe' coolant recovery.

The actual problem here is probably road grime built up in the drain tube leading down and out. Maybe cleaning with a pick before opening the petcock would be in order.
