Yup. We gots to know what you drive to tell you how. Some of the door panel removal instructions are in Techinfo, link at the top of the page, but it'* year dependent. General Chat is for non-mechanical stuff, so we'll move your topic to the right section when we figure out what your car is.

If the tops are loose, chances are they weren't lowered into place. Every door panel I've ever pulled (That went all the way up to the window. Pickups are ususally different), had a lip at the top that you had to lock into placed by lowering the panel onto the door.

The top lip could also be broken. Our panels have a top lip that is stapled on to the panel and not known for it'* "superior" design

Welcome to another Philly area BCer ! Yep, have to know the year and trim level. Just added new speakers to the front doors, and a new power mirror on the driver side. The techinfo article is excellent, but the black lining at the top of the door is a matter of patience, luck and voodoo.

There is a double secret salvage yard in the area. Pretty strong in Bonnevilles. PM me if anything is broken, we can probably come up with it.

Except for cupholders and airboxes. %$#&.
