sputter sputter *quit*... New fuel pump is LOUD!
The car crapped out last night... i was driving home and i could not give it the gas to apply any sort of boost with out it missing and sputtering. when i was about 2 blocks from home it kindly decided it had enough all together and quit... would not start back up at all. SO, I have let it cool off all night and am hoping to be able to drive a block and a half in the other direction now to the mechanic to have it fixed. Who wants to place bets on what it is??
It has K&N CAI with a clean filter
NGK TR55 Platinum plugs (found out that was bad already...)
New Delco wires
Original fuel filter

Those would be my first suspects, also - with the MAF thrown in for good measure. You could also have the flaky PCM that likes to show up in the '94 & '95s.

It has the original fuel filter? How many miles? Is it worth the risk of getting stuck on the road for a $10 item? Then pay a mechanics labor?
Not saying thats what it is as you could have low miles on her. Please update your sig with the miles.

never though of having the milage in the sig... good thinkin!
well, i got it back already and the winning item was a fuel pump and sending unit. also had them replace the fuel filter and in the process some lines too. it was VERY rusted up there. and for those who wondered, orignal parts, all of em, and ~144,000 miles.
But, onto the repairs, the new pump is LOUD as all heck, is that normal and will it go away? something possibly rattling aginst the under side of the trunk? its annoying, like really bad.
