Thanks for the help ACG.

It looks like it must be a different system in the 97 bonnevilles as holding the off button and the up temperature didn't do anything.

Looks like I may have to have someone scan it for me and tell me what is wrong.

Thanks for your help.

Kind of far from me. I'll try to go threw my FSM this weekend when I have some free time.

Fixed

Stupid Air Mix Actuator. I just took the rod off of the white arm. Now I got lots of heat, but I can't control it.

Oh well...better heat then no heat right?

Thanks for your help guys.

Take care

Water leaking on the floor? Either the A/C evaporator drain is plugged or you have a leaking heater core. Does the A/C work?

Our canadian winters are pretty cold, so it might not hurt to toss in a new thermostat, and flush out the heater core if you still are not getting much heat.

Sure the blend door actuator rod isn't misadjusted? Seems the actuators are a common problem..

I remember reading somewhere that if your air mix actuator is fine but is sending the wrong temp control to the vents than it'* just needing a recalibration.

I'll dig around for this procedure. Hate to have you not have control over your heat.
