Default Water pump replacement

My water pump pulley has a good amount of play in it. So I will have to be replacing it. While doing such a job, with having to remove some of the motor mount, is there anything else that should be replaced while doing this? So that way I don't find myself having to dig down there again.

I was thinking perhaps the power steering pump as well?

New or reman?

power steering pump, no. I would replace the idler pully just behind the torque axis mount though, # 9

Nothing really to replace in there other than maybe your tensioner assembly for that belt. It'* down low. Check it for weakness and do it at the same time. The mount has to come off while the motor is supported, and you'll have to swing the power steering pump away. You'll also find it alot easier if you break loose the accessory bracket and move it slightly to the rear of the car.

The Series 1 L67 doesn't have the reputation of eating idlers like the S2 does. But that doesn't say you shouldn't spin them and check them while you have the belts off.

Water pump didn't come with a pulley. Any chance of my pulley being bad? It is whats moving with some play, or is that play just from the shaft on the water pump do you think?

If the 4 bolts that keep the pully on are tight, then it'* the shaft.
