Water Pump
Looks like the water pump this time. First manifold seals, then head gaskets. Anyone done this and approximately how long did it take.
whoever has done this can i get a rundown on how to do it?

Josh, BigAl was the last to do it. I helped him a little. He wrote an article, and i posted it in Techinfo. Combine that with the Chilton'* and a friendly neighbor, and it should go fairly smoothly. The article formatted is screwy because of the server probs, but it works.

In auto'*, we are working on the 3800'*. we are tearing them down and then are going to rebuild them. We just did the pistons today. I took the water pump off the other day. it is really easy. just a couple of bolts after you take the timing gaurd chain off. it was easy for me because the engines were already outta the car. if you can take it out, it helps. It'* nice having the same exact engine that i have in my car to work on in shop. i'll try to help with q'*, but i am still learning.
