First time its done this:

I started the car, was driving to work, looked down and the Security light was lit for a good 5 minutes while driving before it finally shut off. Ummm...why?

It'* telling you there'* a fault in the security system. The #1 culprit is the tamper device on the trunk key tumbler. Make sure the little cable that goes to the security switch didn't break like mine. The car will think someone used a slide hammer on your lock assembly until you fix it. Hope that'* it. Kinda blind troubleshooting that system.

Naw, you don't need a pic. Besides, it'* pouring buckets right now.

Open the trunk and pull the liner back from under the lid to expose the lock tumbler. You'll see a wrapped mechanical cable coming from the lock cylinder, going to a connector/switch assembly with 2 wires. It joins the switch about halfway along the trunk lid towards the back seat, between the double walls of the lid. You can't miss it. Where it breaks is right at the lock cylinder. The center cable pulls out of the crimp. For now, just disconnect that switch it goes to. Your light should go away if that'* the problem. Disconnected, it thinks everything is fine. Same thing should work on both front doors too, if the trunk isn't the problem.
