Default series 1 TPS mod help

in regard to this...

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=22830

i figured id give it a shot cuz

1. nothing wrong with being faster...well kinda, anyways
2. some ppl talked about tranny problems being associated with the TPS... so what the hell...

now i get out there with my multimeter...

and if im correct this is my TPS right?

i have my ignition on, and i can get 12v from the battery, but i get nothing out of the TPS, black wire being negative, and middle wire being positive, and all other ways... connected and disconnected...

the connector on the TPS was super brittle and broke the second i touched it...

ideas and thoughts..?

It'* super brittle because of all the heat in that area over the years. W/O manual in hand I can't tell you that it'* the tps.

I agree though, more power is going to help the trannies you put into the car.

We tried the same trick on mine at a meet last year... found that mine was set just past the recommended setting. I decided to leave mine as well. I may look into this though on my C3. That truck always could use more power.
