You need a HUD parts car. The main dash peice needs swapped to make it all look pretty, There was some electrical engineer on here that did an install before. I'm not sure if he used a new dash or not, But I will. The'* maybe 20 wires going into the HUD, some for power and switching, the rest into the ECM, I'm not sure yet if they are even pinned out of the connectors.

Don't forget the windshield that is HUD friendly. If you don't the HUD is distorted because it is reflected twice through the windshield. This could be alot of work!

that is actually a myth, at least with the HUD system in W-bodies. i custom installed a complete HUD from an '89 Cutlass Supreme International into my '91 Cutlass Supreme and it reflects off the windshield very clearly. the HUD wiring was actually really easy.

i was pretty serious about doing this awhile ago, I even looked on ebay and found a guy who would sell me pretty much everything that I would need. Then I got in a little accident and all my money went POOF! I found GP sites that had done it before, it didnt look that hard. I have a different car then you so I dont know what you have going on. Most of the wires are color coded, I dont think it would be too hard to do.
