Default 1994 bonnie SE won't Start

This has turned into a nightmare. A couple of days ago I was leaving school and when I started my car it struggled to start, but started. I stopped for gas and after I got gas the card didn't start at all, there was just a click sound. We were able to jump the car, however, and I got home. Immediately after parking I tried to start the car and it started with a little struggling. About 20 minutes later I started the car again and it started fine. That night my dad started my car and drove in up the driveway to the garage to check the connections to the battery, etc. After that the car would not start, all there is when the key is turned is a clicking sound. He said the starter was bad so we took it off and had it tested at two different car shop around town, both said it was fine. We then had the battery tested and it tested bad, we replaced it, and the clicking persists. We described the situation to a mechanic friend and he said it has to be the starter, so we installed a knew one about an hour ago and the car will still not start. There is a single click when the key is turned. The car is getting power, ie the lights, radio, etc all work. Any advice? Thank you in advance...

I have had this problem with several cars. Clean your battery posts and terminals. Also check the wires coming off the starter and clean those. I'm pretty sure it is just a dirty connection somewhere.

Definetly sounds like a bad connection to the battery...get a wire brush/battery terminal cleaner and really scrub them...If needed get new battery terminals...and mke sure everything it tight...

Did you put a new starter solenoid in with the starter? If so, then I would check the connections. Could be bad connections at the battery, or at the starter. I have had dirty terminals down at the starter do the same thing.

I am assuming your alternator works fine.
