Moral of the story is to have your ELC spot on to where you want it for everyday driving before having an alignment done, and don't drive alot with it jacked up

Mine was off by about 1° from the strut change after adjusting the ELC. Guy at the alignment shop kept insisting that I MUST turn on the ignition to make the ELC work.

I wouldn't let him

Har! I always get chuckles when I jack up the nose of mine for an oil change, and the car very helpfully tries to jack up its back end to match.
