1993 SSEi
Alright I have a 1993 SSEi and I was wondering if I could buy a 94 SSEi supercharger for this. Would it bolt up? Everyone says it is an M62,but I am so confused because the Horsepower and tq numbers change. Anyways, If anyone knows this would be very grateful. Also, if my bearings are bad what else should I change if I dont buy a whole new supercharger?

you will also need the throttle body and related sensors. I'm sure Willwren will chime in to let you know what is all needed.
And yes, the 94/95 supercharger will bolt directly into place. Good luck.

For the 94 M62, you will need:
New gaskets
New little yellow o-rings
94 TB with or without sensors
ZZP AFC ( to handle larger TB)
Keep your stock pulley as performance pulley on 94 SC
Maybe some SC oil
Some coolant
I don't know about doing the bearings. Someonle else will, though.

the bearings that typically go bad are the ones in the snout of the supercharger. There are 3 parts to replace in the snout:
1)6204.C3 open bearing
2)6203.C3 open bearing
3)CR7965 end seal
You'll need a press to get the old bearings out and new ones in. Most engine shops have a press. Be careful not to mess up the inside edge of the seal when putting it over the machined edge of the shaft.

The only difference in installing the 95 will be needing something to calibrate the MAF sensor. I suggest the ZZP mini AFC 2.0 from www.zzperformance.com

Your car'* computer will see the signal from the MAF and relate it to a smaller TB, and translate that into less air, so you will run lean. The AFC increases the signal. If the computer could adjust properly, you wouldn't need it. When I got one, it really woke my engine up after the 94 swap.
