Remember the oil leak you saw on my engine? Do i need a gasket? What kind and where does it go? I think i am getting low oil pressure too. My prssure never went that low and it is down to 20psi when i am sitting still in traffic in drive.

Do you change your own oil? How long has it been since the oil filter has been replaced?

Steve...Check the oil level right away. You may be really low.

w/o knowing I'd say you probably have a leaky rear valve cover gasket..now ask why I think that

Steve, valve cover gaskets are CHEAP.

But don't focus on any one problem until you THOROUGHLY clean your engine, and watch for the leaks to identify them.

thats just as bad as saying i need a part but i dont know what engine i have

bust out the chiltons and use it as a picture book to find the Faulty Part then tell us what it is is takes 5 min to look
if you knew what the part was called you wouldnt have 5 replys about absoultely nothing you need to know

GM stamped there name on alot of components so really that doesnt help at all

I wrote that wrong. the oil resting on that part. where ever the leak is coming from it is sitting on top or that metal part. like i said, i will get out inthe garage berfore i go to work and tell you exactly what it is.

Steve...we gotta get you a crash course in engine part identification buddy. Who has a pic of a motor and can put some basic labels on it. We need valve covers, and stuff like that.

With it clean like you have it.. is the oil coming from up above, where the valve covers are, the front, back..bottom.

And when you say it'* coming from that metal part...lol.. the whole motor is metal. Unless you magically became oppressed, got an L36 or the equivalent of a big hunk of recycled soda bottle on top of your motor.
