For what it'* worth, the driver'* side of my old '97 and the driver'* side of the '98 both shake. I just inserted a black pie-piece shaped foam between the housing and the glass. I pushed it back far enough where you can't even really see it. Glad to know it wasn't just a quirk on my 2 cars.
