Default Understanding My DIC

well, my bonneville has no SES light but it seems to be having an engine problem that is being shown by my driver information center. The engine light in the DIC is on and its yellow, although everything else is green. Does this mean I have a code being thrown? It is off when I start my car, but comes on a few minutes after driving.... Below is a pictue of what is lighting up. sorry its small, but I circled the engine is red.

You need to have your car scanned for diagnostic trouble codes (DTC'*). Unfortunately you have an OBD1.5 system and require a scanner with an OBD2 connector that reads OBD1 protocols. You may have to go the the dealer. Get the codes and come back to tell us what they are.

they won't read it unless my SES light is on - nobody seems to know what it means when the engine is illuminated in yellow on the driver information center?

Did you have it scanned? Not all DTC'* set the SES light.
