Spring In Hood Flew Off, Now I can't open My Hood
This morning I had a new pair of wiper blades and some orange washer fluid. Blades went in fine and tried to open the hood, But it resisted. I put a bit of force on it and it flew open and the spring flew off of my knee (ow!) and on the ground, Now I can't get the hood open... What can I do? :?

without the spring, it'* a 2 man job. unless you put a long bar under the grill with enough leverage to apply pressure to the hood while you pull the release.

Yup. Get someone to pull up while you pull the release, or jam something to hold the release wide open, then go pull the hood up.
Or get the car over 80mph, pull the release, allow the air flow to raise the hood, climb out the window, and open it the rest of the way.
