so what do you think a shop would charge? 5 hours at $80.00...$400? Plus parts. ?

Ouch....to the pocket book! I like to buy a tool when I do a job, I figure the money I save in labor more than pays for the tool. I had a torque wrench but realized it was too big for the LIM about half way through. So now I have 2. I love tools! Brian

A inch pound torque wrench is used a lot. So a good investment.

I have done three of these now. The first took 8 to 10 hours, the third one about 6 hours. when i do it I do it all while I am at it. I change the valve cover gaskets and the spark plugs while i have everything apart.
