Default computer error

My 1993 SSEI Bonneville just got a new fuel pump and fuel filter put in. the symptoms - it will run for about 20 minutes and then cut off. Codes - 99 PMP. 69 - High Press. SW. circuit. 68 Cruise Control command 67 - Cruise control switch - 66. A/C pressure sensor/circuit prob. 88 - PCM reset.

Note none of the problems in the A/C or Cruise control present and works completely fine. - No SEL present but the computer is throwing these codes. Is my computer going bad.

The car runs fine, but idles with a slight miss. Has all new wires, iridium NGKs and all new GM coils., new UIM gasket and new supercharger. changed within 2 months. Please help me on this I believe my computer is going bad and needs to be replaced.

Moved to 92-99 TD

That is very odd. I'd probably start by checking the grounds in the engine bay and then the connections at the pcm to check that it'* not an intermittent bad connection.

your absolutely right, I have been checking all connections and grounds. I have new cables from the dealership and not some cheapy trash auto brand on an Optima Red Top Battery. I even checked the ones on the door sills on both sides. I believe my computer is flickin out.

I replaced the ECM - went well - working fine so far. - just want to know, do I just let the car run for awhile and drive it till the computer relearns itself then run a scanner on it. Is there a way to adjust the computer for fuel/air ratio or mixture and rev-limiter? What are the steps after installing the ECM. Oh I took out the Jet stage II PROM and used the Original PROM. Not sure if the JET Stage II is bad.

GMTuners should be able to help you program a new chip. Otherwise.. there'* really no support for tuning. Unless you consider a Jet chip and AFPR tuning.

Okay got the new computer is in and scanned, ran the car - ran good all day - then whamm. the car dies - wait 20 minutes starts up - then runs for about a 1/8 of mile dies again. Not sure what the problems is going on - does anyone have a clue or have the same symptoms. My 93 ssei bonne only has 153,000 miles.

I've seen some goofy things with electrical components when they heat up. Small cracks and stresses get bigger connection points move apart and power drops off. Circuit boards warm up and layers no longer touch and power drops off.

Does the car just suddenly shut down or does it studder stall?
Any other electrical system shut down when the car dies?

I'm stumped.....

I'm just as stumped as you are. the car will run fine then it just quits - wont start, no power to the spark plugs. I changed out the electronic control module under the coil packs to see if that was it. still nothing. even the repair shop where its at doesnt seem to know what the problem is. New crank sensor, new computer, new fuel pump and filter.

Wow I guess everyone is stumped - I have had already 2 auto repair shops whom looked at my car and none of them seem to know what the problem is. - Looks like I might have to take it to the dealership. What I might do is go back - change out the elec.control module and see if that could be it, I might put the original one back in and see if it starts. If not, not sure what to do. These freaking bonnes seem to have alot of electrical problems.
