wet floorboards
SO I am pulling apart my 93 SSE to fix and upgrade things and after removing the carpet I find the floors are all wet and the underlayment is wet and falling apart. I know my driverside floor was a little wet before but I thought the sunroof drain might be leaking or something, but its not that. Windshield looks like its sealed, but really hard to tell. Any ideas or other people have the same problem?

door seals.
are that nice and tight in each corner?
can you push on them and do they move (manly around the corners)
if so that might be where the leak is coming from.

Problem on my 96 olds was an area of sealant that detiorated near the base of the windshield. I had to pull the left fender to reseal it. Water would run down the rear side of the firewall to the floorboard, then all the way back to the rear floorboard. But mine was only wet on the drivers side. If you need photos, let me know.

My guess is the easy/common fix of door seals. I had/have this on both of my cars. The seals shrink over time. Mine needed about an inch of junkyard weatherstrip to refill the gap I created when I moved the existing strip around to be tight again.
Also do a search for posts by jrs3800 involving water, wetness, moisture, fish, etc.
