Default Code 39

I just scanned the car and this came up. Torque Converter clutch. I changed my TPS recently ,but it was not adjusted properly ( SES light on and off and stalling sometimes ) Could a TPS play havoc on a Torque converter and therefore cause a CODE 39...Thanx

If the TPS is bad or adjusted wrong, it could prevent the TCC from locking up. Do you have a service manual of any kind?
