i am hearing a slight knocking noise at idle, the knock increases w acceleration.
what am i in for?

Has it been getting worse? And a little more info would help narrow it down.

no, it has not been getting worse. i took it into the dealer a month ago
cause the tensioner pulley broke and the belt needed to be changed.
didnt here the knock before.....
took it back to the dealer they took a look at it and said they didnt know what it was
it wasnt anything they did. pretty much gave me the run around.

If the sound is coming from the bottom front, it could be the harmonic balancer starting to come apart. If so, best to change it before it takes out your crank sensor.

it is coming from the pulley side. maybe from one of the lower pullies..

Could be your idler pully going out.
