Trunk problem =(
When I got this car I was aware that the trunk didnt open and it wasnt bothering me until today. The key tumbler was seized and the pop button on the side didnt work (Im without a FOB at the moment). So I drilled out the lock tumbler and pulled it out and used a screwdriver to pop the trunk open. First the lock tumbler was not mechanical, but was electrical which Ive never messed with before. I disconnected the harness and bridged the connector, nothing. Fuse #2 is fine which also ...
My question is, what the hell is the problem here ?!?!?!
Is the acuator dead? Could something with the wires in the car be messed up, or something else?

I previously did have problems with the neutral safety switch and gears were all out of wack. But a new neutral safety switch and shfit linkage fixed that. After that I havent had a problem with it.

remove the door side button, expose the positive and negative wires, then take speaker wire and jump the two + and - wires on the button with a live source from the fuse panel. I did this on my park ave when i locked the keys in the trunk, worked like a charme
