LIttle Bent Up
Oi. I'm new, woooo. I just grabbed a 92' SE for about $500. It amazingly turns on. I got it from a guy who'* kid had a little mishap, he didn't feel like screwing with it, so I figured hey, for $500, and maybe another $400 in pieces, what the heck. This is my uncle'* account too, he told me about it because he found this site a while back, so I thought I'd give it a try.
The car had a slight front end collision, looks to me about 20ish mph. The left fender is a little cracked, but the right alright. The hoods bent up, and the radiator pushed back, thank god for the fans being attached to it instead of behind. The guard was bend in a little across the top of the radiator. The lights got smashed, so I'll need a new set of those. There'* also just a couple of things on the inside that are missing, just a few here/there items. Oh yeah, I also found a little circular piece laying in the trunk with a little nut and a bolt about 5 inches long. I'm not sure what they are, so I threw in a pic of that too, maybe one of you guys'll know.
I read around here and you guys know your stuff; I was just wondering if you could give me a little estimate on the cost of the parts. Maybe I'll find one or two from a junkyard, but just a rough estimate would be nice. I'll probably aim for some nicer headlights. I was also wondering how hard it was to do the "angel eyes" thing with LED'*. Got some pics, lemme know what you think.
I don't know what this is. Does it go over the oil filter or something?

Sorry for the pic spam, that'* why I threw in a couple URLs instead.
Thanks guys

Well it doesn't look toooo bad.
The only thing I can comment on is the headlights can be had for 35ish each + shipping or some junkyards do sell them for cheaper. Grills are pretty cheap, 20-30ish. Fenders aren't expensive but they are hard to ship. Which is where the price will jump.
Looks to me like you need to either spend some time with a hammer or a plasmacutter and welder.

Depending where you are, the prices may vary. From the yard here in rochester, ny you'll be looking at these for prices:
Headlights $55-65 each
Grill - $35-50
Hood - $75
Radiator brace - $15 (holds hood latch.)
Fender - $65
You'll need to get the front radiator support pulled back out. You might be able to do this yourself if you have the means, but most likely will need a shop to do it.
If you are near binghamton, ny, I have the hood and fender in red.

Your biggest issue is the front radiator support (metal across front) being bent. That will need to be fixed and then almost everything else is a bolt on.
On that bolt/round piece.. ???? I think it'* a bonus from something non bonneville.

Hey. right on guys, thanks. You're close, I live in Manitowoc, WI. It'* about 30 minutes from Green Bay. Anything pretty much in northern Illinois or Wisconsin would work. Thanks though, I'll see what I can do.

The long bolt & disk resemble the end cap and one of the retaining bolts for a starter, if you ask me. Maybe for that car, maybe not. The stamped metal nut would be for something entirely different.
That'* my WAG, anyway.
