Default Systems Monitor fluke?

Anyone else notice on the display system monitor....It says check gages. Not gauges...but gages. LoL gave me a kick tonite and i was curious if anyone else noticed it and if it was done that way for a reason

The HUD also says that. My dictionary says it can be spelled both ways. I use the two interchangably.

Son of a gun. You're right. And all these years I thought it was just GM being stupid...

Well, I still think "gage" _looks_ goofy that way, and the dictionary does call it an "alternate" spelling. There are also three other primary definitions of "gage" in the first place; "gage" as an alternate of "gauge" ranks fourth in order of importance.

Bonus question: What is the common name for the car part that GM used to call a "Delcotron"?

Bonus II: How about an "energizer"? (not to be confused with the Eveready bunny brand, but it'* close...)
