"Mentioned to Ditchy to get the manual he has..and research the body control module tests regarding the locks and the remote function actuator".....this you did not mention to me, my dear....if you did, it was at the same time that Ditchboy and I were having our feud...Lol

Update: Tonight I heard the words that we parents never think we'll ever hear from our teens: "...Mom...you were right....sort of"

Well...turns out that all of the problems with Ditchhopper appears to have been related. The security system whacking out and not shutting off....the bucking at higher rpms....and the final thing: no starty when you turn the ignition. The only part I was right about was that it wasn't the tranny causing the bucking, rather I said it had to be fuel related (or the lack of).

What was it? A Resistor. One that affects the security system (thus the ignition and fuel pump). So the garage told Ditchboy. Live and learn...$75 lesson for a ...what... $1 part and a 10 min fix? Good news is that the DitchHopper lives again and will be making it NEBF in two weeks.
