Default car trouble

this is my first post. I have a 95 Bonneville, and I am having a problem recently where my car is stalling when I am braking for a while at a light. Also if i press the brake a couple times to slow down, then start driving it stalls, does anyone have a solution, and is it worth fixing my car or getting a new one?

what trim model do you have? If you put your year and trim in your profile signiture, it will help others help with your problem.

That sounds like my fuel pump problem i had.

I vote check fuel filter make sure its clean.

Also is there any noise when its about to stall? Mine would squeal cause there was a screen in the tank that would block the pump when the gas flowed forward (coming to a stop)

But now ill leave you to the gearheads.

HI...and welcome..

When was the last tune up?
Have the vacuum lines ever been checked/replaced?
The model and mileage are important..please list
Is the check engine light on?

My first thought is a vacuum leak. The idle quality of a car is very dependant on it. However a tune up or dirty throttle body can also directly effect idle.
